I went back through some pictures and realized I forgotten to blog about our Monopoly night. Crazy! We stayed up until 2:00 just trying to beat this man! Can't you just see the deal-making going on. He is pretty good with his strategy. After playing with him a couple of times before, I knew he was going to be ready to kick our butts. Gary and Tara had to learn it the hard way.
This is our game board for the second game. Check out the hotels in the top of the picture. Those are Tara's. She put up a good fight and we actually thought Todd was going down. But...nope....Todd won again. He takes you for everything you are worth. I'm staying up at night thinking about beating him at Monopoly...okay just kidding. My life can be kind of mundane but I'm not that pitiful!
Can't you just tell we are getting abused. Oh, poor Gary and Tara. Yes...he stands up and everything. This is serious business.Gary and Tara downloaded the game to their blackberry so they are practicing. Todd is up for a real fight the next time we play. So hurry back for a visit Gary and Tara. We're looking forward to it!

Oh, I've already put the word out here that we are ANXIOUS monopoly players looking for anyone (preferably two people) who are up for a late night game! I've got one taker so far and I hope it catches on!
You can count me out on the monopoly playing, I have never been able to play that game. All I can remember from my childhood is that it took forever long, so it has been banned. In fact, I bought the 20 minute monopoly game that they put out a couple of years ago and I still haven't even played it. So don't fear Todd, you don't have to worry about me taking the King's chair from you. :)
I propose to take Todd down. {this is Brooke}. I am fairly confident I can do it. Or at least come close. Bring it!!
I was wondering why he was standing up in the first picture! I love Monopoly- all board games basically. We must get together for a game night. Except I am quite competetive myself. Russ too!!!! Cute blog. Love the pictures of EG's b-day. I might try the hot and cold game for Chloe's b-day coming up!
