If you look close to Brenna's cheek you can see a bruise. It actually looks a little worse in person. While riding her bike to school last week, she looked behind her to see Madison and she ran into a car. The car was not moving and there was no injury to the car and (as you can see) only a minor injury to Brenna. She has laughed and made jokes about this little accident since it happened. It's good to see that she can laugh at herself for something that could have been embarrassing.And yes, she was wearing her bike helmet. Emma Grace and Brenna have both been so awesome about wearing their helmets. And now that Brenna has had a little scare she is on the "you've got to wear your helmet" bandwagon.
By the way, notice the tooth that is missing. It finally came out after weeks of pushing and pulling on it.

Whew! I am glad it was minor & that she escaped with only a bruise. She really is a good sport... and now the helmet police! Way to go Brenna.
that's kind of scary...so glad she was wearing a helmet! crazy girl!!
Thank goodness for the helmut! BTW, do you still have the recipe we used to make for chocolate upside down cake???? I want to make that again! If you ever have time to e-mail me.............
