eggs-periment

So I'm not exactly sure how this whole egg thing started but we were reading books one night before bed and somehow the topic of "what happens if you freeze an egg?" came up. So we decided to do a little experiment and find out
All of the girls had a good time with this experiment. They could hardly wait to get the frozen egg out of the freezer.

So we cracked a regular egg.
We boiled another. {We ate the boiled ones of course}

And this is what is looks like when you freeze an egg. Pretty slimy! And you can just barely see the yoke through the cloudy egg white. {Helpful tip: If you do this, remember to put the egg in a ziploc bag in the freezer.
